The Revs returned to action
Saturday after an extended World Cup break in front of nearly 20k
at Fortress Foxborough. Cristian Penilla connected on his second
brace of 2018 and Teal Bunbury picked up his 10th goal of the
campaign -- a new single-season career high -- as New England
improved to 7-4-6 at the season midpoint and currently sit in fifth
place in the Eastern Conference table.
Friend of the pod and beat writer for Boston Sports Journal, Sean Sweeney, returns to talk Revs defensive break downs and opine on the all-star snubbings. Then we preview the Revs’ upcoming home tilt with the struggling Seattle Sounders with Steve Ketelsen and Tim Hamilton from the Flounders B-Team Podcast.
